The Judging Process

The Miss Kenya Swiss competition judging system has been designed to encourage creativity, distinction and achievement among all contestants. All judges will be provided with detailed, written rules and regulations of the Miss Kenya Swiss judging system. There will be one panel of judges for all appearances of the contestants, scoring the individual contestants immediately after each appearance. After each appearance, scores will be counted by three certified public accountants.

As the title of Miss Kenya Swiss is very prestigious and has to be acquired equitably, the organizers are very fastidious in the selection of judges. Based on their experience, professions, and appreciation of the Kenyan and Swiss cultures, judges will be nominated by a special committee and approved by the board of elders. Persons familiar with, or related to, any contestant will not serve on the panel of judges.

Competition Categories:

  • Beach Attire:  figure, flawlessness of shape, presence in beach wear
  • African Attire: originality, creativity, style, presence, grace
  • Evening Attire: carriage, composure, dignity and presence in evening wear
  • Talent: Presentation, performance, entertainment, creativity and artistic skill in talent
  • On-stage Interview: Knowledge, intelligence, eloquence, poise, and charisma and sophistication in interview

The guest list reads like a Who's Who of Switzerland’s intelligentsia, social circles, humanitarian agencies, diplomatic corps, business, tourism and the entertainment industries.
